    We are a medium-sized parish in Colehill, just outside the market town of Wimborne Minster, about seven miles north of Poole in the county of Dorset, England.

    Liz White and Rod Chapman were licensed last Tuesday (23 Feb) as Lay Pastoral Assistants to join the team of other LPA's in the parish. They will be working with Revd. Suzanne Pattle and the rest of the LPA team on a wide range of pastoral care.

    John Weaver, who has been a Licenced Lay Minister at St Michael's for many years, has retired now from active ministry, and to mark the occasion he was presented with a gift from the congregation of St Michael's today.

    We wish John a long and happy retirement as he now becomes
    Lay Reader Emeritus.
